This will be the last ABIE dinner for the year in the Netherlands. It will be hosted again at the delightful Hoxton Hotel, Amsterdam. Our speakers are Adam Anders and Mark Throsby.

Our guest speaker will be Adam Anders. Adam has over 15 years private equity and venture capital experience, having entered the sector as a senior operational executive for several venture capital funded businesses. Adam has held senior roles at Rabobank including as a Director of Rabobank Private Equity and the Managing Director of Rabo Ventures.
Prior to this Adam was with Ironbridge Capital, a Private Equity house in Sydney, Australia. Earlier in his career, Adam worked as a management consultant with Bain & Co and as a commercial lawyer. He grew up in rural South Australia where his interest in food and agriculture innovation was initiated.
Adam holds an MBA degree from Cambridge University, England and a Bachelors Degree in Law and a Bachelors Degree in Commerce, both from the University of Adelaide, Australia. Adam is a regular speaker at food and agriculture conferences and is passionate about improving our food and agriculture system.

Our profiled member for this event will be Mark Throsby - Mark has served as Chief Scientific Officer for Merus BV since January 2013. His responsibilities include strategic scientific leadership, management of discovery, pre-clinical research and translational research, business development support, external collaborations, and partnerships management.
Before joining Merus, he served as a senior scientist and then as director of antibody discovery for Crucell N.V., a biotechnology company specializing in vaccines and biopharmaceutical technology. Dr. Throsby holds a Ph.D. in neuro-immunology from Monash University.
